River Captain Adrienne
Oh captain, our captain! Armed with spreadsheets and giddiness, Adrienne tells us where to go and what to pack and keeps us pumped with countdown-to-trip-time texts. Her job is finding breathtaking landscapes and thrilling excursions. Our job is to say yes to whatever shenanigans she pitches. When Adrienne plans a trip, one thing is certain: a river will be involved.

Brazen Visionary Suzanne
"Sometimes you have to get in that water naked." Suzanne earned her Troop 12 moniker by impressing us all with a brief-but-determined skinny dip in the frigid waters of Avalanche Lake (Glacier National Park). In addition to her polar plunge prowess, Suzanne is also a master planner of adventure and mayhem and is generally down for anything... as long as scary roads aren't involved (lookin' at you, Going-to-the-Sun).

Conductor Taylor
aka Safety Compliance Officer Taylor
Taylor's roles can't be limited to one title. As Troop 12 conductor, she gets us where we need to go. As safety compliance officer, she's ready with the nitty-gritty info we need to avoid dangers of all stripes. She reads the fine print; she heeds warning signs. Fun fact: she can also tell you the depth of every body of water we traverse.

Troop Leader Anna
In addition to her quick wit and penchant for sarcasm, Anna brings her experiences as a once-upon-a-time national park ranger and current girl scout troop leader to Troop 12 trips. She's our personal travel guide of sorts, elevating our adventures with impromptu tidbits about local history, archeology, and flora and fauna. She also tries really hard to advise us on how much water to bring and what supplies we need for our excursions. We are learning to listen.

Crafty Witch Allison
Alli cooks all the food and makes all the things. She's the genius behind our river burritos and trunk tacos and her stuffed mushrooms transcend the mortal plane. She creates a personalized aesthetic for each trip with custom shirts, bottles, koozies, and fanny packs. She can also tell you what that plant is and if you can eat that mushroom. And she very much needs to stand on that ledge barefoot with her eyes closed.

Troop Bard Valerie
Valerie is all about a good story. A self-proclaimed collector of experiences, she's easily talked into just about anything that might result in a good yarn she can spin later. She loves a long hike and getting lost in the woods, which is super easy for her because she has no sense of direction whatsoever. She generally needs an adult in all situations. If there's a cool tree or a rock face within a hundred yards, she's gonna touch it.
